Sleeping:
It is unfortunately NOT possible to sleep in the house where we dance, but you can write and ask in the FB event. Maybe there will be a free couch at some other participant 🙂

You can bring your own lunch, we have a kitchen in the building. But there is also possibilities of buying takeaway food nearby.
The workshop:
By exploring movement and timing, combined with tools of using surface, weight and lever to find a non-muscular way of taking and giving weight, we aim to receive a sensation of flow or magic touch.
This leads into dances where we can move others just by moving our own bodies, in and out of touch. Dances where different kinds of touch and spiral work can make your motion fly both in an internal and external way.
We will work with simple tools for moving your own body- finding your ’contact body’ to go in to touch with other bodies as well as playing with instant composition.
“I want to share some of my experiences from the moving that allows in Contact Improvisation. Looking for the timing of weight that moves through your body- creating a moving flow. My aim in teaching and performing Contact Improvisation is also to integrate each situation that appears in the dance, through presence, pleasure and playfulness.”
Måsen Erlandson:
Måns är utbildad vid Formation Professionnelle i Grenoble, Le T.C.D. i Paris samt hos dansgruppen Vindhäxor och koreografen Eva Lundkvist. Han har varit verksam som frilansande dansare i Grenoble, Paris och sen blev det Sverige. Måns har genom decennier även jobbat som danspedagog inom
kontaktimprovisation. I stora drag kommer vi att jobba med olika metoder för rörelse och möte. Jag försöker fokusera på verktyg som förtydligar vad vi gör och hur vi använder kroppen, för att kunna utveckla det vi redan har och kan.
Några av de tekniker jag vill förmedla är att flytta andras vikt med rörelse, att leka med det som uppstår, viktlös kontakt samt att använda kontakten till dans och dansen till kontakt.
I kursen ingår även övningar för att utveckla sin ‘contactbody’, t ex genom simultan avspänning och anspänning i olika kroppsdelar, vara upp och ner, spiralarbete samt att släppa kontrollen utan att tappa den.Måns has been teaching and performing C. I. since 1993 in and outside Sweden, regularly teaching at the University College of Dance and Circus (DOCH) and Mime and Theatre University of Stockholm. He initiated the Nordic Improdance Meeting (NIM) in 1996 as well as orgenising the Lillsved Jam & Seminar and the Nordic New Years Jam since 2002. He used to teach in festivals in Germany, Italy, Spain and the Scandinavian countries since 1998.
